I think this is an appropriate example of abstract animation because the artist makes up this “other-worldly” scene out of what appears to be sparkling diamond structures.
This could definitely be applied to my project because I wanted to use this “fly feature” in my animation where it looks like you’re flying through things, this animation helps me understand how to accomplish that better.
It appeals to me because I think it’s really beautiful and this is one of my favorite animation artists, so I really admire his work, its got a cool theme of retro 80’s to it.
